Last week: 16 total miles
On Wednesday our running group went to the track and ran a speed workout as Lisa, coach extraordinaire, critiqued our form.
Lisa and I ran a 400 together. She literally had me follow in her footsteps so I could mimic her stride and strike of running efficiently.
I could feel the difference.
The ease, the push off, the speed...
She had mentioned that I had the distance thing down and that she wanted to work on speed with me.
Someone from the group asked, how fast do you want to go?
As fast as I can!
This is our last week that we will be running with Lisa, coach extraordinaire. She will be moving to Salt Lake City.
I will miss her tremendously.
